3-29-10

We did the pledge and talked about our pedometers.We also counted our miles for Walk Our World. Emily brought up ipod touches. The digital divas did a video chat with Jenny Cummings. We introduced our selfs to her. She showed some of her pictures. She   went with Jenny and Katie to school. She has two daughters. On October 21st her daughter took a picture of her wich she really never does because she was obese.In one month she lost 30 pounds and her husband lost 20 pounds! She could not find a size that could fit her. She stopped going to church and alot of other things. She would loose wieght and gain weight and loose weight and gain weight. She can't have red meat (which she LOVES) and can not have alot of salt. She tell her kids to not eat non healthy choice and also if they ask her for a Fruit Roll-Up she will tell them to read the label. Chandra asked her lost 71 pounds!!!! We would of never thought she was so obese because she is so BEAUTIFUL! She likes to bound with her kids. She agrees with Faith that over weight is some times caused by depresion. Julia said that her mom saw photo shop pictures that her hips where smaller than her head. Emily asked does she have dessert. She somestimes have a little bit of sweats. There is no way she will not live with out having a little bit of sweats. She does have dessert. She likes to go to the gym. She would rather be outside than at the gym. She showed us some of her hiking trips. She said that she should be enjoying the beach more. Her daughters are Kennedy and Ashtin. She would eat alot of food.

CHANGE



What does CHANGE mean to you?
it kinda means to make something different then what it already is.
you could make something better or worse
change means to work 
to be different in your own creative ways
to work at something to make a difference
to be awesome
to make something different even it doesn't turn out correct
change your lifestyle to be more healthy

change one's opinion

change your eating habits
be more healthy

you have to work hard to make change happen

convince others of what we believe in

chain reaction - our change will inspire others to change. 
I think change means to do something different to try something new.
I think change means to shape the world in a good way!

On Monday March 1 we watched a video on health and fittness. We learned how important it is to be fit. Then we did our Digital Divas pledge. After we did that Chandra told us what she had done the monday before on the blog. Faith had interviewed her grandma and her aunt and asked them some questions on how, and why to be fit. Emily had found the 3 benifits of fittness they are less stress, brainpower, and energy. We decided to do a survey on what kids favorite sports are. Then a question that was asked was how do you know how much excersise is good for you? We discused that and said that too much excersise can be bad for you but if you do little by little excersise it can be better. Then Claire had some questions and answers that she thought of. After all that Emma, Amanda, and Claire did a song on fittness. Then Allison B., Emily, Sidney and I did a remix to the song "Fireflies". Then we signed up for E-Pals From Florida!!!!!!!! At the very end of Digital Divas Katie took a bunch of pictures of us.
